1.1. This Cookie Policy explains how payonqr.com (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website or interact with our SaaS platform.

1.2. In compliance with the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR, non-essential cookies (Analytics and Marketing) are disabled by default. They are only deployed onto your device after you give explicit, affirmative consent by clicking “Accept” in our cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, no analytics or marketing cookies are set. You may modify or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

1.3. We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Until consent is granted, Google’s tag is initialised in a denied state and does not write cookies or transmit identifiers.

2. CATEGORIES OF COOKIES USED ON THE PLATFORM

A. Strictly Necessary & Functional Cookies (First-Party)

These cookies are technically indispensable for the website to function securely and properly. They cannot be disabled, as the services you explicitly request (such as secure dashboard login and session persistence) cannot be provided without them.

  • wordpress_logged_in_* & wordpress_sec_*: Core cryptographic tokens used to verify the identity of a logged-in Merchant or Staff member and maintain an active, secure session.
  • wp-settings-* & wp-settings-time-*: Operational cookies used to remember user interface preferences and dashboard layout.
  • qp_consent: Stores your cookie choice (accepted or rejected) so we do not ask you again on every page. Contains no personal data and expires after 180 days.

B. Analytics & Performance Cookies (Third-Party) – consent required

These cookies allow us to count visits, understand traffic sources, and see how the site is used, so we can improve it. They are loaded only after you click “Accept”.

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): Collects pseudonymised data on how visitors interact with our pages – page views, session duration, and navigation paths. Subject to Google Consent Mode v2 as described in section 1.3.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics (Ahrefs Pte. Ltd.): Privacy-oriented traffic analytics used to measure page views and referral sources.

C. Marketing, Targeting & Remarketing (Third-Party) – consent required

These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant adverts on third-party platforms. They are activated only after you click “Accept”.

  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Tracks visitor activity and conversions on our site so we can measure the performance of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and deliver remarketing.
  • Meta Conversions API (CAPI): In addition to the browser-side pixel, conversion events may be transmitted server-to-server from our web server to Meta. These events may include a hashed identifier (such as an email address or IP address) used to match the event to a Meta account. Server-side transmission is subject to the same consent requirement as the browser pixel.

3. THIRD-PARTY DATA TRANSFERS AND PRIVACY IMPACT

3.1. Where you have consented, online identifiers (including IP addresses, hashed contact identifiers, and unique cookie IDs) may be transmitted to servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), primarily in the United States.
